There was a great thread or two last year here about BBQ joints down on the Outer banks of NC. Can anyone tell me where that is? Headed down today. Thanks.

There only two i know of, Pig Man in Nags Head and Bubba's in Frisco. Bubba's was great untill he past away many years ago and has gone downhill since then and Pig Man is nothing to brag about either.

      Have A great trip.

Why would someone want to eat bad BBQ at the beach with all that great seafood within reach?

                *shrug*

there was a woman last year who asked for non-Pizza recommendations for her trip to New Haven. I regularly am asked where to eat in Cincinnati that does not involve chili

                to each their own :-)

Hit Sooey BBQ one day and it was not even as good as the BBQ they were selling next to the hot dogs at the conveinence store in the Oregon Inlet marina.

No biggie, though, as the freshly-caught Mahi we grilled made up for all!

                  Thanks for the tips.
