I know, where?? For reasons too long to write, we have to drive there this weekend if the weather holds out. The route takes us from Northern NJ (Rte. 80 West) to Trucksville, PA (near Scranton, Wilkes Barre) Routes I-476, PA-115 & PA-309. Hey...ya' never know! But I'm not too hopeful being that I am the first person to ever type "Trucksville" on this site! Sue

Believe it or not, there's even a great Roadfood joint in Trucksville! Pizza Perfect on Carverton Road (everyone can point you there). Great square onion-y pizza. They have pretty good wings too. One of the best pizzas in an area most famous for pizza! Tony's Diner in Kingston (Route 11) is open until 1pm Saturday. They have amazing Italian sandwiches and omelettes for breakfast and lunch. Really exceptional. Be prepared for a little counter service attitude, but it's so worth it. This area is my home base, so if you're looking for anything more specific, let me know.

my good wife is from Kingston and she showed me the delights of Tony's diner many times. Good food and well, the service is a bit 'localized' but efficient and should not deter anyone. Is that pizza place still around up by Harvey's Lake? Used to have Stegmeyer beer on tap, which is about as 'local' as you can get

Gary, are you talking about the Grotto? If so, they've expanded greatly over the past decade with several locations in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area and now even in Rehobeth Beach Delaware and environs.

Wow! Didn't expect an actual response! Thanks! We'll hit Tony's diner for breakfast and Perfect Pizza for lunch! That is if the weather holds out. Too soon to tell - I've heard from between 3-6 inches of the white crap on Sat/Sun to 28 inches. 28 inches??? Are you kidding me? This isn't Buffalo ya' know! I just hope my roof holds out

No one's making a "solid" prediction on this weekend's snow storm. I heard "maybe six to twelve inches" on the news tonight, but they are keeping it vague...probably because they have no clue. Keep in mind that Tony's is closed Sundays and Pizza Perfect probably opens a little later in the afternoon than most lunch places.

Hehe, Stan beat me to it. There's at least two of us here. That's my stompin' grounds, too. I'll agree with his choices. Tom
