Oh by the way.. Tue, 03/25/08 11:12 PM (permalink)
It's been about a month that i've given up making sweet tea in my home. I've mentioned before I'm sure that I used to make about 2quarts of iced tea everyday!!! And I'd drink almost the whole thing myself! I used to go through a bag (4lbs?) of sugar about every ten days! Now I only drink water or Weyler's Light in fruit punch flavor. I drink tea when I eat out, but it better than downing gallons of it per week, huh? It took a while to get used to not having my wonderful sweet tea with every meal, but it really was getting to be a bad habit---just like people who can't give up soda. I'd keep ragging on my friends who couldn't give up soda, yet here I was drinking my calories away!

It's tough giving up the sweet tea - I've been cutting back somewhat myself. Mrs. Oneiron makes the best and I'm glad she doesn't even drink it or I'd have it everyday too. Now she just makes it for the family for Sunday dinners.
