Well, in today's world, TV is as necessary as a computer. I would hate to give either one up.

Greymo Well, in today's world, TV is as necessary as a computer. How do you figure? I've never owned a TV in my life, and if no one else is home it never occurs to me to turn the one in my house on. Edit: Wait, I lied. I still own the 13-inch black and white TV my dad bought me when I was ten...does that count?

Greymo Well, in today's world, TV is as necessary as a computer. I would hate to give either one up. in today's world, with the internet what it is, TV is becoming increasingly less and less important. Or necessary. YMMV.

I guess that there's no need for TV when you live in a happenin' place like G.R. - you can always drive over to Grand Haven and watch the Musical Fountain for entertainment,

Other than your BS post, what is there about TV that is necessary to everyday life, no matter where you live?
