Oregon Hot Dogs & Sausages

I'll be visiting the folks in Silverton, OR for July 4th. Can anyone recommend a good local brand of hot dog or sausage? I'd like to use the backyard grill while I'm there!

i would suggest ZENNERS, [you can find some of their products at winco food], as they are an oregon company, and make great dogs and sausages. i use many of their product on my cart.

i won't be open on the 4th, but i will be open on the 5th.
so if you can make it to eugene, i have a dog waiting for you

If you can stop by Otto's Sausage Kitchen in S.E. Portland, you will find some excellent dogs.

Just make sure you pick up some Rogue Brewery beer to wash that down with.

One of my favorite US breweries, bar none.

Since you will be in Silverton, just pop up the road to Mt. Angel and check out one of the sausage places there. Mt Angel hosts a very fine Octoberfest during September each year and some of their local producers put out good stuff. Ropesausage.com comes to mind.

I stopped by Lucy's and they do indeed serve a darn good dog. And, I will be attending the Mt. Angel Oktoberfest in September.
