Every year or so I look it up. Have you ever seen a La Caja China grill? AKA the Cuban Microwave. It works the same way. And maybe the best way to cook an entire pig. You will never get a bad meal out of a Orion Cooker....Russ

My only issue with the BGE is they are TOP HEAVY, and if i am paying that much for a cooker I dont want to see it in a million pieces after it hits a crack in the driveway and topples over. I have seen this done with several.

It uses indirect heat to cook. The fumes from the charcoal never touches the meat. I have had great success with it cooking most anything.
