My Security boys tell me Ort is around as usual--he was in the library last night typing away on the public-use computer and telling tuba jokes as well.
Yes, tuba jokes. I don't know why.
I imagine he's not posting much and is spending his limited computer access time writing his column for Flagpole.

Ort was the first person I thought of the other day after the killings there at UGA Athens. (No he wasnt one of the KIA)

I'm not aware that Ort is involved in the local litttle theatre scene--the site of the shootings. But Ort does frequent the Huddle House a couple of blocks away from the tragedy. A terrible tragedy and the murderer is still at large, but many (including me) think Zinkhan went into the dense woods where his Jeep was found and shot himself. It may take a while for someone to stumble upon his carcass.
