Foodbme, Side box smokers can be very expensive! I got one second hand from a guy who had his parked outside my local American Legion. It sat there for a year without being used and I made an offer. I paid $50.00 and bought the guy a few beers and it was mine! This was a New Braunfelds smoker that couldn't have been more than a couple of years old. Alas, when I moved from AZ to AK, I had to sell it or pay shipping. I then sold it for $300.00 to a guy up the block before I left. I used it for four years before I left so I got my money's worth out of it plus a profit.
