I found a good barbeque place in the nearby Kissimmee-St. Cloud area a while back when I took the family to Disney World. It's Fat Boy's Barbeque, and it has several locations in the area. The phone numbers of two of them are 407-847-7098 (Kissimmee) and 407-892-4400 (St. Cloud). The pork spare ribs were meaty and well prepared with a good, smoky flavor. The tomato-based sauce, available either hot or mild, complemented the meat well. The sides were also done well, especially the cobbler, which was very good. If the kids are old enough to like barbeque, they'll enjoy it. If not, maybe you can take the kids to a pizza place and swing by Fat Boy's for the adults.

Believe it or not hubby and I have been to the "Rainforest Cafe" and loved it! The food we had was surprisingly good! The atmosphere is FUN!! You think you're in a DW Jungle! LOL The one we went to was at "Downtown Disney" which is a "street" of stuff that's fun too...including a "Leggo" place that's a blast! There are huge Leggo built "things" in the lake there! A fun place really! Be sure to go in Tower Records too! That's like 3 floors of great stuff! Good luck! If I think of anything else I'll let you know! Happy eating! KokomoJoe

Also, you might want to check out two other threads, entitled "Disneyworld food ideas?" and "Going to Orlando, any ideas?", currently on pages 4 and 12 of this forum, respectively.

Went to a chain called Bahama Beeze a couple of years ago. It was right on Internation al Drive. The food was outstadning. I don't know how the kids menu is. But I htink they have a Web site.

Also try a Buffet inside the park at The Grand Floridian. It is well worth teh money and I beleive Winnie the Pooh is there.
