I just got an email from Pwingsx. She just got home and is making a good recovery effort. She promises a full report on the Hospital Food and ALL the sordid details of her medical experience shortly.

We are very pleased to hear of her progress and thank all those who took time to wish her well.

I just received a note from Katie (PWINGSX).

"I'm sorry I haven't posted on Roadfood yet. I've been reading but I don't feel up to posting. Some of the meds I'm on leave me feeling rather spacy and unfocused. I feel better but things seem a little surreal. I have had some kind of delayed allergic reaction to the antibiotics I was given ..."

So she is making a slow recovery. We wish her well and hope she is able to return to regular activity shortly.

Been awhile since I've been in the Misc. Forums here... But have heard from Katie, and luckily she's OK! Wishing the best in her recovery there.. Still think she was eating Rhubarb leaves vs. the stalks... But thats another story.. :)~

Pwingsx posted a very kind reply to my first post on another forum. It was a nice welcome to a site that I have been enjoying "from afar" for some time now.
