Pappadeux - YUMMY!

Has anybody eaten @ Pappadeux? There are a couple of them around Chicago. Technically, they're a cajun joint, but a lot of folks just call it a seafood joint. Their fish is flown in fresh 6 days a week. A little pricey, but AWESOME! They've also got incredible alligator, and crawfish that even my wife ejoys. Their desserts are beyond compair. They have a banana pudding with vanilla wafers & real whipped cream on top served in a pint mason jar. This is definitly on my top 5 list of resturaunts!!!! --James

Thanks, rb. I didn't realize that it was a chain........Thanks for the links, I looked at both. Seems I'm not the only one who thinks it's a little heavy on the $$$$$. --James

When they entered the Atlanta market a few years ago, we ate there a few times. The food was always good - never great. The meals seemed geared to people on expense accounts. There was always a long wait when they first opened - and hour and a half on weekday evenings and two to three hours on weekends. That suggests that many found it to be a good place to eat, but I don't plan my hunger that far in advance. In metro Atlanta there is considerably better Cajun food available and at much lower prices.
