Parade Up Date Sun, 05/25/08 5:15 PM (permalink)
Hi, All, Just did a parade on Saturday, Another one of life's little lessons. Bought Pepsi cans @ 21 cents a can and sold for 75 each. Sold 96 dogs at 1.00 each, The parade was at 2pm So I started at 1:00 and was sold out by 2pm. Lesson learned buy more Buns next time, I bought 4 bxs of 48 pkgd dogs, Kunzlers 100% All meat. Not everybody bought sodas because a group walked the streets giving away FREE water as advertising. only sold about 24 sodas PS My wife arrived too late just as I was running out. Wait till the next gig. Also I did it by self, couldn carry that much extra, But you need a seperate Meat cooler. I hate the ketchup people LOL, but this is Lancaster County, where they put ketchup on everything, even mashed potatoes. Later CBB in PA PS did not have to pay any fees to work this parade.

Hi Bassrocker4u2, I get them at BJ,s 48 for 9.95 You can get Sabretts at Giant Food on Lititz Pike, But alittle pricy. Next yr at parade I'll have enough Buns. I get them at BJs also. I usta buy 1/4 LB Sabretts at Costco's. Hope your place does well. I'm jealouse. I think I'll try for an Ice Cream Palour on the other side of Gift Shop w/deli type foods. No Grillin' means less hassle with Board of Health. Later CBB in PA
