Our neighborhood Crows have taken a liking to our Asian Pears (2 trees). To avoid a total loss of that tasty crop, we picked the trees clean this weekend and used the immature fruit to make two batches of great Pear Butter. Plenty of apples around for the birds to enjoy, but they head for the exotics !! Glad to see the celebration of the Pear growers in the Delta. Maybe I should send them a Hoosier Crow or Two!
