Pendleton restaurant update

Some news about fondly remembered Pendleton,Oregon roadfood places. Cimiyottis' a much loved local steakhouse will reopen again in a couple of months. Stetson's another local steakplace plans on operating it in much the same way as the original owners.
Circle S Barbecue is gone for good. The owners have had a rather messy divorce and the building had plumbing problems the building owner would/could not fix.
I was in Pendleton chaperoning a trip to Round-up this weekend. I found a couple of places worthy of roadfood status. Rooster has a nice roster of breakfasts including corn-dipped french toast and the Rooster, a combo of hash browns, egg, and diced ham that is quite good. Dinner and sanwiches are also good. Como's Italian serves good spaghetti, linguine, and pizza downtown for lunch

Circle S had been going downhill too.
