Will be heading down to Pensacola, Fl for the first time this March. Anyone know of any good bbq or seafood joints. Any suggestions are appreciated - Mike M.

I had excellent food at "The Oyster Bar" in Pensacola----709 N. Navy Bl., 850-455-3925. Their oysters were delicious and opened in front of you. Very reasonable too----and they come on a huge platter. You mix your own sauce to taste if desired. Good drinks great stuffed shrimp and their specialty----seafood stuffed potato. Also a good selection of fried, grilled and broiled fish, seafood and steaks. Do try their deep-fried crab balls.

I go there several times a year for more years than I care to remember. My family had a home on the bay across from the beach when I was growing up. MCGUIRES IRISH PUB is by far the best place to go. It is downtown but everything you order will be out of this world plus it is a fun place.
