Peoria IL, Clinton IA and Dyersville

Going to see some minor league baseball and Field of Dreams. Anyplace we should get something good to eat at these places?

I hate to see this thread get no replies at all.....

If you like a good tavern burger, check out Paul's Tavern in Dubuque, not that far from Dyersville.  Their flame grilled burger cabinet is something I have never seen anywhere else.

Approximately 30 minutes from Dyersville, I would recommend Breitbach's Country Dining listed in the Prewebsite Roadfood books

Doh...I should've remembered sooner that in 2011 I lunched with 6star at Bemer's Village Inn in Spring Bay!

Sorry, I have had computer problems and didn't see this thread.  Downtown Peoria is under re-construction everywhere and a real mess, so Bemer's Village Inn in Spring Bay (about 10 miles north of Peoria on the east side of the Illinois River) is probably as good as you can easily get to in the area.

If you cut it to fit that tenderloin would need 4 buns and still have a little left over.
