Pepe's Pizzeria-Manchester CT

I have to be in the Manchester area tomorrow and figured I would make my first trip to Pepe's. I have a question about directions. Pepe's website instructs you to take exit 63-I am coming from NH and coming off of Rt 84. When I use Mapquest they instruct me to take exit 62. Any suggestions on which way would be better. We have never been in the area before. Also-what landmarks would help me find Pepe's? Is it in a strip mall, near a gas station, etc.?
Finally, should I expect a long line around 11:30-12:00 on a Friday?

Thank you-my husband and I are looking forward to this!

This is a route we know well! Yes, choose exit 63 if you're coming in on 84 West. When you get to the end of the ramp (you'll see Walgreen's in front of you), turn LEFT. At the next light (comes up quick and is marked by a Pizzeria Uno on the L corner), turn LEFT again. Then just stay on this winding road in the right lane past every chain store and restaurant imaginable. When you first see the huge Buckland Hills mall on your left, you're almost there. Keep an eye out for a small strip mall on the right--inside are Pepe's, Laz-e-Boy, and a Scottrade (yes, an interesting combination).

Never been to that location at lunch, so can't say for sure about the line. We have been at many different times for dinner though, and there always seem to be people there. The line goes quick though, so no worries.

    Hope that helps!

I have been there at lunch time maybe a little after between 12 and 2 PM and the line has been relatively short.

    Enjoy,

I know this is a little late for nicolem, but we were there today (wednesday) at about 1:45 pm and there certainly was no line. Only two other tables accupied. This must be the time to go. The pizza's were great. Only comment I have is the crust seemed a little thicker than what I'm used to at the New Haven location.
