I'm pulling for Ed Carpenter. It would be great if this small outfit could top the big boys.

I'd love to see the Mayor of Hinchtown in victory circle. There is a huge amount of talent in the field this year, front to back. I'd be happy to see pretty much anyone win (except maybe Dragon Racing, not a fan of how they treated Kat Legge)...and a safe race for all.

Sadly I'll be chilling my tokus waving flags at a bunch of SCCA racers at the Glen and will miss the race (unless its a rain out)...What sick and perverted person schedules an amateur race the same weekend as the 500 and compels me to support them...?

I along with many other folks were glad that Tony Kanaan won.  Finally after 12 races, he made it.  He was emotional and all of us were happy.

Just re-visiting this. Sorry I couldn't watch the whole race but it was a great race and congrats to TK!.. I have to say this is a great IndyCar season...the races in Detroit were very entertaining! Happy to se Conway and Pagenoud win...and kudos to Wilson and Jakes and Dale Coyne Racing for that matter...the heck with the Penske's and Ganassi's..

I was at the Indy 500 and had four tenderloins that week leading up to the race. Also was there on Carb Day for the Freedom 100 Indy Lights race that had a four side by side photo finish. The racing has been outstanding so far this year. The next race will be on the oval at the Texas Motor Speedway. I am enjoying it much more than NASCAR though I did not mind watching that podium finish of Stewart, Montoya and Jeff Gordon at Dover.

Detroit Belle Isle, with the track change this year made all the difference. There was actual racing at the lead and throughout the pack with lots of exciting passes which is usually thought not possible on street courses that usually turn out to be parades and pit strategies. I think the Saturday race was more controlled mainly because I suspect the drivers wanted to make sure not to crash and miss the dual Sunday race. Sunday they got a little bit too reckless at the beginning but then settled down.

The Indy Cars are fantastic. It is night and day the way they drove around the Indy track last year and this year compared to the previous models.

Only one new one out of the four and that was The Aristocrat in North Indianapolis. I posted them in another thread.

    Paul,

I posted the Nick's Kitchen and the Aristocrat tenderloins in the recent Regional Sandwiches thread.

Normally, I will post instantly right at the restaurant on Twitter at @Davydd then I will post to the Facebook Group Pursuing Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches with comments of more than 140 characters.

After that I most often post on message boards such as here in this long running 37 page thread Pork Tenderloins in the Roadfood Sandwiches Forum. There is also another long running 10 year old thread about tenderloins on Trackforum.com, an auto racing Indy Car centric forum that I post to.

Speed of posting really is a matter of capability and convenience from an iPhone. To get a photo here on Roadfood is a lengthy process. Twitter is a no-brainer. Facebook is also direct but not quite as convenient as Twitter. Of course here you have a compendium history easy to browse if you care to go through 37 pages or 1,107+ messages in the Pork tenderloins thread.

Can't leave you hanging. Here is the Jumbo Tenderloin served at a concession stand at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
