What are tomato fillets? I've never heard of them. The picture of your soup makes me want it NOW!

I would "think" you could just take whole canned tomatoes and slice them into filets.

I have a question....I've read the recipe three times and have somewhat studied the pictures, I see no mention of potatoes. Is that potatoes in there? If not, what's that on top of the chowder?

TJ Jackson what exactly is your advertising arrangement with the Sterns? I believe he has the same one you have for the Cincinnati Restaurant Association. C'mon TJ, Tom is a member here and contributes interesting stuff. He has a restaurant that a number of Roadfooders enjoy and he's proud of his food. And he's not the only person here with a food business posting pictures of the food he offers.

The thing is, I am not trying to advertize my place, laugh as you may, folks here love pics, I finally learned how to post pics, and indeed I am proud of my fare as Micheal Hoffman mentioned. I plan on a picture of every worthy entree, which is every entree, Thank You, Thank You very much!

Hi ya Chewy! I know I am the rookie here but... I have read alot of yer soup threads and you got it goin on my friend! With this particular soup or yers, try this next time. Get a porter or an IPA and add a bottle to it, Let it reduce by half and let me know how it tastes...

does it get cold enough up there for that kind of warm, ice melting soup? That's the soup I'm looking for after a day of sledding or snowman making.

Got to give credit where credit is due, A waitress here, Katie Midgley, is the aspiring pro photographer, she has a Nikon, a $2900.00 model, has taken classes and done a few weddings and such, she is only 21, so much time to hone her skills. Her reward for the pics is she gets the food!

Colder here than DC many days, Ski Liberty only 10 miles away, it ain't Aspen but hey, The Blue Ridge Mountains ain't the Rockies! Soup on a hot day, soup on a cold day, soup every day. My favorite style of food.
