Pics of the Cream of Jalapeno, Sausage, Noodle Soup

This Soup is really spicy, incredibly good, if you love medium or hotter wings you will love the heat content here, too hot for my wife, but she says table pepper is too hot for her. The Noodles and Cream give it great texture and take the edge off some of the heat as the Sausage is Hot Italian! Notice the incredibly expensive spoon!

It may sound like a strange combination, but it looks terrific to me. My compliments on the silver spoon. By the way, where can I buy bowls like that?

A little thick for me. I like noodles. I love noodles! I could stand the heat as long as I remember my Prilosec.

Greymo That looks awesome! Glad to see that you found my spoon! Sotheby's returned it to me, they found it a few minutes before it was to be auctioned. Some Arab bidders got really upset I heard!

Chewer, I want details. What kinda broth / flavoring did you use? Jalapenos, fresh or piclked? What kinda sausage is that? And, what kinda short fat noodles are those? And Chicken and Dumplins are kinda thick and I like that so... this looks good to me. Joe

And Chicken and Dumplins are kinda thick and I like that so... this looks good to me. Joe Joe, fresh, seeded Jalapenos, a green pepper, spanish onion, Chichen broth, whole cream. I liquify the Jalapeno, onions, green peppers in my Vita Mixer[the greatest gadget in my kitchen], add a little chicken broth to help liquify. Add the liquid to the Chicken broth simmer, adding ground thyme and parsely, the noodles are a fantastic new Noodle I found at COSTCO last week, I threw the package away before I memorized the name, as I'm sure they will be a keeper for the COSTCO people, The sausage is Primo brand hot Italian, also a COSTCO staple. grill it whole, cut it up over the pot to capture the juices, simmer all ingredients till the noodles are 95% done, add the whole cream last, slowly up to temp, These noodles hold really well. that said, I like them to get the additional 5% from the steam table holding process

Chewer, thanks! I have never seen a noodle like that. Short, thick, just right for a soup like this. I was gonna guess chicken broth. Oh, and spicy Italian sausage, and onions, just keeps soundin better and better! Joe

I usta get that at Horn and Hordart's Automat on Fulton St., Brooklyn if I am not mistaken. Cost a dime. Big sign on the wall there said "Please Watch Your Coat" and while i was watching my coat someone stole my Cream of Jalapeno soup. He was apprended easily ---he was the guys with tears in his eyes and smoke coming out of his ears.

Now that's a soup! And there's an actual spoon. May I make one suggestion, please? A sprinkle of a good hot paprika for both color and taste.

Hmmm. Don't know about that one. Was expecting to see diced peppers abounding. Although hotter IS better.

Looks more like a chowder. Actually looks great, but would have to taste it first before investing in ingredients, myself. Could you hold the spoon a little farther this way?

Chewy, A fine looking soup thanks for posting the ingredients I may make this, my container garden is sporting peppers galore. I might make an addition of smoked turkey to the mix also. Those noodles remind me you are near Amish country. I love those and grew up with them in chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes.
