Pillar Candles

I just posted a question about candles for the front of my place and when I went to see if anyone replied it was gone? Where did it go?

Here it is again:

I'm curious about the way we buy pillar candles for our place. The restaurant supply places are insane with their pricing and the local stores are even more insane, plus who has the time to pick them up? We are only closed one day a week, and I am not spending it running around to buy candles. We have been buying them from here: buyacandle.com mostly because of the free shipping, and they really do burn a lot longer than the ones the supply wanted to sell us.

Other than pillar candles at the hostess station and a few places (bath, etc.) we have them on the tables... but I'm curious as to what you guys do when it comes to candles. Pillar candles (unscented pillar candles, obviously) and all other kinds of candles too.

If you started to add links (that may be selling the candles), and being your first post, it becomes a thin line (IMHO). The wording in your original post may have contributed also. This site is real tight when it comes to advertising, and I'm thankful they are.. More of a discussion board. Hopefully you get some input on this round.

But when you say candles, first thought in my mind is Insurance and Liability costs. Open flame always increases the risk factor.

I was thinking I was going crazy. :D
We have a rider in our policy about how many candles and what they have to sit on etc, it isn't really a big deal if you're smart about where you place them, etc. I can tell you that there is NO doubt that the average ticket goes up when we have the candles verses when we are running low or haven't ordered them. The pillar candles on the tables make the insurance co. happy because they can't be knocked over like taper candles could.

I'll sit tight and see if others have any input, etc.
