RE: Pineapple Pizza, yes or no?

I prefer pineapple to Anchovy, and in fact one of the worst pizzas I ever had was Canadian Bacon, Pineapple and Anchovy! This was a tactic pizza, so people wouldn't bum slices off the guy. When I worked delivery for Pizza Hut, a guy would often order Anchovy and Jalapeno pies. Same reasoning, he could eat it, and he knew most people couldn't or wouldn't. But one of my old faves was Pineapple/Pepperoni and sometimes I would also add green peppers, onion, olive, and fresh sliced tomaoes on top. Done right, it adds an almost Chinese food flavor to Pizza, it really can be good! But I also like Pepperoni, Bacon (breakfast bacon, don't like ham/canadian bacon on pizza, too bland)Salami, Sausage, just about any meat except chicken (like CB/Ham, just too bland, and not GREASY enough!)and Hamburger, which is too greasy, and never gets done right, it either comes out raw in blobs, or dried up hard pellets. I saw on the list above of standard Japanese items, and I also have a Dominoes Takeout menu from Japan, and while much of it just sounds wrong (any Seafood, especially Squid and Squid Ink, corn, eggs etc) I have to admit, I think I would enjoy Asparagus on Pizza, and spinach is pretty good too! Right now I could go for a Pepperoni, Bacon and Olive on half, Pepperoni and Green Pepper, and sliced fresh tomotoes on the other, extra sauce, thin crust, well done, please! But hey, then again, I think if you're gonna eat it, go ahead and mix squid, and pineapple with BBQ sauce, if thats what you enjoy, and you can have that pie all to yourself, as no one is going to ask for a slice!!! That is truly the nice democratic thing about Pizza, it's up to you what you want on it.
