Pittsburgh to Atlantic City

Hi guys. Going to Atlantic City for a few days, and have no clue on where to go. I'd like to stop in Philly for a roast pork, but what's in Jersey? I'd like to find some good pizza and burgers. And a steak for one fancy night. I know there's Morton's, Ruth's Chris etc, but would like to try something different. Doesn't have to be expensive, but I'm guessing everything there is haha.

Besides those, are there any must go to places nearby?

If you want a good Burger in Atlantic City and like the old school joints, you can't beat the Irish Pub. Very reasonable prices too:

For your "Fancy Night" I'm sure one of the Casino's would be good for that

There  was one in Bethesda, Md. for a while some years ago and it was excellent.

For pizza, please go to Tony's Baltimore Grill in A.C., on the corner of Iowa and Atlantic. You cannot beat their prices for the area, and they've been there since 1927.

If we weren't going to the Golden Nugget down there on Friday, I'd say "Let's go to the Irish Pub for lunch or dinner". In the early 70s, a bunch of us girls would rent a room right on St. James Place (where the Irish Pub is) for the summer, and have summer jobs. I remember a lot of rabble-rousing, but not much about the food, sorry to say!

Some of my fraternity brothers would get summer jobs at "The Shore". They came back with some wild stories. Maybe they "rabble-roused" with you????????????????
