Pizza as works of art

In this article Martha Stewart creates some pizza art??? Many here actually look great...Maybe some of our pizza makers out there might like to try some of these!!!

    The prosciutto mozzarella and escarole, provolone and cherry tomato pies look good to me. I think I might like the Nicoise version, too.

    I think Martha Stewart could get a lesson or two from our Roadfooder davydd.  His pies look much better than hers!

    The mixed-mushroom / scallion pizza looks very intriguing to me.
     
    So does the squash / Brussels Sprouts / Sausage.

    I'm sure Martha, The Jailbird, wasn't within 100 miles of those pizza's when they were made. She has "Minion's" to do that stuff!

    When I was a poor college student in Frostburg, MD, the Fox's Pizza Den on Main Street had pizzas that had been baked, shellacked and then hung on the wall to show the difference between a small, large and Sicilian square.  Perhaps the most off-putting "art" I've ever seen in a pizzeria, but man, did they have good pepperoni rolls.  And they would stop at the beer store for you on the way to deliver your pizza - truly a full-service establishment.
