Pizzeria Bianco Opening in Tucson

For all you Pizzeria Bianco fans, Pizzeria Bianco is opening a place in Tucson at the end of the year.
I wonder if they'll have a Sonoran Pizza with Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs on it?

Another step on the way to chain-dom. Do we dump them from Roadfood now?

Olivella's and il Cane Rosso, the two best Neapolitan-style (gourmet, high end) pizza restaurants in Dallas have now opened branches.

When they came on the Dallas scene there were already some really decent places already established, among them Fireside Pies and Coal Vines, so they weren't a novelty, just a 'step up'.

I can't help but think that the fame of Pizzeria Bianco was greatly enhanced by the fact that it was such a novelty when it opened up in Desert Hell The Valley of the Sun.

From the site cited in the original post, here is a clickable list of the 101 best pizzas in the USA.

Just to show what B.S. such lists can be, here is the same site's 35 best pizzas of 2012.

Far more interesting and informative is the thread someone started on 'pizza styles'.

Check the videos there; from them I now know to look for 'leoparding' on true Neapolitan crusts.  And I now know the first pizza I ever tasted was 'Ohio Valley Style' which was probably derived from 'Old Forge', etc.
