Dear Fellow Roadfoodians,

I want to Start a "HotDog" Cart Business just like many other States like Florida, NewYork, Alabama,..etc.
I live in Chicago, I passed the "Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification", I went to the 121 Lasalle building today and spoke to the "Business License" dept in Downtown Chicago. And they said "HotDog Carts" are BANNED!. Mayor Daley our old Mayor ordered the ban. We have a new Mayor, Mayor Emanuel, he can OverTurn this ban, but I need people to sign my petition Please! I'm out of work, and many, many, people will benefit here in Chicago, it'll create "JOBS". Chicago is a "HOT DOG" TOWN, we cant make our own "HotDogs"??? From a Cart????

Reinstate the Use of HotDog Carts in Chicago. I cant post the URL. The Admin wont Allow.

My guess would be that all the B & M Hot Dog shops had something to do with it. Chicagostyledog would probably be the most knowledgeable person on the subject

What would the chicago mayor care what someone from Upstate NY thinks about a Hotdog Cart Ban in his town. It depends on what the petition is about. You would be amazed at how much sway RVers have when thousands are contacting Chambers of Commerce, Mayors, county commissioners about "no-overnight parking" Bans.

Nova Scotia got taught a few years back. Impacted their tourism for years, Even now, there are Rvers who will not go to Nova Scotia. Too many other places to go.

If every food vendor in the county contacted Chicago, it would make an impact. Try contacting ALL the big news organizations. Chicago is "anti-small business".
