My Mom lives in Howell and buys her Kiebasi at these markets, just depending where she is and what she is doing.

        Ocean County:

        Lenny's Market

        http://www.lennysmarket.com/

We have two great locations to serve you: our Silverton Market which is located in the Stella Plaza on Hooper Avenue in the Silverton section of Toms River Township (732.255.2959) and Colonial Ranch located in the Colonial Ranch Plaza on Bridge Avenue in the heart of Point Pleasant (732.899.7766).

Lenny's is an irresistible marketplace jam-packed with a profusion of excellent products in bottles and jars, local produce, creamy house made mozzarella, super deli and fresh salads, and if that's not enough, try a homemade fruit pie. Lenny's is the kind of one-stop shopping where you feel it has all been put out there just for you. And then, there is the mile long meat counter which takes center stage, showing off a profusion of steaks, loins, roasts, chops, cutlets, poultry and sausage.

Both Lenny's locations offer the same quality meats, hot and cold entrées, sandwiches, award-winning produce, baked goods, and catering.

We are open seven days a week and have an extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner take-out menu as well as our hot
        and cold sub sandwiches.

Both Lenny's offer our Freezer Pak selections which allow you to choose from a wide assortment of quality and
        money saving meat packs

If you want to take a little bit of a drive to Port Richmond section of Philly, the old Polish section, there are two places that are very good.

          Czewrs
          3370 Tilton Street - Philadelphia, PA 19134 215.423.1707

This place has some of the best that we have had along with unbeliveable pierogis and breakfast sausages. Check their website for the variety of "tailgate ready" pierogis. We love the following:

          CHeesesteak
          Pepperoni and cheddar
          Loaded Baked Potato
          Jalepeno and cheeses
          Meat and Mushroom and onions
          Buffalo Chicken
          Bacon and cheddar

*** Because they are a small family run place and all items are hand made you must put your order in at least three days in advance.

          Swaiacki's
          3623 Salmon Street, Philadelphia, PA 19134 215.634.0820

Really good Kielbasa as well and about 1 mile down the road from Czwers if you wanted to compare for yourself.

If you are going to go to these places you are very close to a lot of other famous eateries and markets if you want to make a day of it. We go to Czwers and Swiacki's about once every three months and load up.

There is aslo a Polish deli new to the area of Phillipsburg, NJ which is decent. Going out further if you really want a long drive is Leonard's by Wilkes Barre, PA - very good meats!

Try the German Butcher Store on Lacey rd. in Forked River. It's exit 74 off the parkway. He's probably got the best in your area. He also makes all his own lunchmeats. Corned beef is great from there, and they also sell aged black angus beef.
