Thank you!!  It was a great combination of good and simple ingredients, and sauteed apple slices were a nice complement.  It could be fun to change the type of beer, add some sausages, etc. in the future.  Thanks to everyone who shared this New Year's Day tradition and encouragement!

Gorgeous dish L2B!


It's not too late & as luck would have it (see how that works?) Chinese New Year is right around the corner.

There are like a million lucky items for that New Year...including (what I believe are) the luckiest coins in the world...




Garden State Parkway tokens (they look like lucky Chinese coins). I always kept the ones that felt lucky to me...even when peeps would be bleepin' the horn waiting for me to throw it in the basket on the GSP.

Hell no & they had to wait a second for me to find some alternate change or not-so-lucky token.
