Food Lion had Porterhouse on sale for $4.99lb.  The butcher cut them 1-1/4" thick for us.

Great looking RARE Porterhouse just the way I like it.

That steak's too rare for my tastes, but otherwise is a great-looking hunk of meat. It's kinda strange; I like my burgers medium rare, but I want my steaks medium... go figure.

We have a Food Lion here but it's in  the "not so good" part of town but I would be willing to take a risk for a porterhouse price like that!  Cooked perfectly.

joerogo,I never met Lefty until after we got Geico Insurance.
 he's just a very slow short order cook.
we used to have one I called Emeril because he'd come out & watch me cook all the time. haven't seen him in a while.
 Wartoad, he'll only go to North Dakota in the summer when its warm there, he doesn't like the cold.
he also needs a 1st class plane ticket & a handicapped parking spot at the airport.
