when I first saw the title, I said to myself, what are you thinking?... then I saw the picture & description. good idea. I always keep a slice of real rare center cut to warm up later.

That's going to be our dinner tomorrow night. I have several nice slices of rib roast and a big bowl of mashed potatoes. This is something we look forward to every Christmas, after the big day. Glad somebody else likes this one, too. I serve mine with a cucumber, onion and tomato marinated salad. Do you have sides with yours?

King, you're a genius! I made a standing rib roast on Christmas day, and now I have all the bones (the part that you remove before carving) and their meat leftover. Looks like there should be just enough meat there to make some of this hash for me and hubby. No leftover taters though so maybe I'll dice a few and hash brown them. And then I'll make a killer beef stock with the bones. :)

Gosh, I would love to try that hash, but my boys fight over the last slice. They also devour the ribs. By the way, my "boys" are 65, 40, 31, 30, & 15!!!!
