 Problem with my account

Problem with my account Fri, 10/24/08 9:22 AM (permalink)
I am trying to sign up for Insider. When I click on "Begin to use Pay Pal," it brings me to the login page. When I try to login, it doesn't work. I had it email me my user name and password, so I know they are correct, not to mention I'm signed in, and typing this post.

When I click on both "Preference" and "Logout," it also brings me to the login page, and nothing else happens.

PLEASE HELP ME?!?!

    The administrators have said in the past that you should go to the home page and on the bottom right hand side click on "Contact Roadfood.Com".

      Yeah I did do that, but I wasn't sure who to send it to. I selected Business Development.

        I am also having an issue signing up - same story about repeatedly asking me to log in.

            I have also been tricked! I paid the $19.95, told my insider account was activated and nothing! I also don't know who to contact.

              After I contacted, "Business Development" on the contact page, I recieved an email from Stephen Rushmore. All it was asking was for me to describe the problem again. I still have not recieved any other word.

                Looks to me like your problem is solved ... The Insider logo appears under your name.

                    I don't know how you feel about deleting all the cookies on your machine, but I once helped someone with a PayPal problem and found that you get different screens from PayPal depending upon if there are PayPal cookies on your machine or not. We got that transaction to go through as a VISA transaction. PayPal only figured out the customer was already a PayPal member after the transaction was completed using the credit card.

                    Tell ya what, since PayPal had me play in traffic so many times. Contact PayPal, tell them Roadfood.com said it is PAYPAL'S problem and tell PAYPAL to fix it!

                    EDIT: I am starting to remember details of that problem my friend had. He was trying to sign up for an online subscription. The service's software was written incorrectly in that it could not handle error situations. The problem was caused by my friend. After he was several screens into the signup process, he hit the 'back' button to look at a previous screen. That software ran amok if someone went back and forth between screens; it was "One Way Street" software. The only way to get the transaction to go through was to blow away all the cookies on the machine.

                      I signed up up as a RF Insider late last year, and until now I've never had any problem accessing the site. I tried to access the insider site a few minutes ago, however, and I got the " sorry, this page is for subscribers only " page. What happened? Please help - thanks.

                        You have to clear your cache and cookies.  You can do this in internet options.
