Propane Tanks & Wraps WOW

You have to see this. I read the thread reese 77 about propane tanks being mounted under a food truck or trailer and I have an under-mount on my step van. And to be truthful I know it's 80% full but I have never looked at it since I bought the truck. It is hooked up to the propane furnace. Tomorrow I'll take my creeper over to the BBQ stand and roll under it and look at it. Anyway the thread made me think that I have never searched for videos on U tube pertaining to food trucks. (I know this is long but I'm getting there.) You have to see what they did with the propane tanks on the back of the "Rolling Stove Truck" Awesome And reese77 this should be some inspiration for you and others building a food truck. http://www.youtube.com/wa.h?v=emSvXCnujKM&NR=1 Enjoy Jack

Yea, I watch the same video awhile ago. I have been all over the web searching for food truck related stuff. I like the wraps and that is what I would have done if I mounted on the back but my truck is already small and I need to mount my generator on the rear and do not want propane and generator on the rear, also it is hot in GA and I do not want the tnak exposed to the sun all day on a hot day.

reese77 I need to mount my generator on the rear and do not want propane and generator on the rear, also it is hot in GA and I do not want the tnak exposed to the sun all day on a hot day. Jeeez Reese, I have two propane bottles mounted on both of my trailers and they sit in the direct sun all year long with 100 degree summers and - 12 degree winters. The weather will not effect them. Besides if you were to get hit from behind they won't or most likely wont explode. The release valve will purge the tank with a gush to release the pressure if it fails and it will just mix with the air. Or better yet the fill valve will just shut the top of the tank fill-valve off and you'll have to replace it. If you open up a propane valve wide open with nothing connected to it, it will automatically shut it's self off. And if you have a line that comes into your truck or trailer that breaks or is disconnected it will automaticly shut the system down. Been there done that. LOL How high is your van? I doubt your height on anything mounted behind your van is ever going to come into contact with a bumper. But I do think the under carriage is the best way to go, but only for appearance sake..

I'm in AZ and my propane tanks sit outside 24/7 - 365. No Problem. We've been above 100 degrees forever. it was 109 today. 114 tomorrow.

So that's how they do it!! Great video and a well designed marketing tool with all the major copy components in the visual. Someone gets an attaboy! No question about what it is they do and what they offer. (Hope the food's good!)
