Propane fryer conversion. Mon, 10/12/09 4:45 PM (permalink)
Well I had a Newco shallow fryer pan and an AMF 110v fryer head. It was less than good. So anyway I met some carnies at an event who told me they had had similar equipment Carnie retro and propane ( CR@P) so they had bought some bbq propane heads and retrofitted their gear. With this thought in mind I built the latest edition to the wagon and built a propane burner with a thermostatic control. And mounted it to the Newco pan. I tested it last night and using a digital thermometer to check the temperature Im happy to say it keeps good temp. control.
