OK ..... It Came In A Large Hard Plastic Cup With A Membrane Across The Middle. In The Lower Half Was A "Milk"-esque Substance. In The Upper Half Was Chocolate Pudding Powder. You Shook It, Breaking The Membrane & Combining The 2 Elements. There'd Be Unmoistened Chocolate Pudding Powder Chunks In It. PLEASE Tell Me What This Was Called .....

Are you thinking of Shake-A-Pudding? We ate it as kids in the '60's, but it hasn't been around for many years.

You're welcome, Cary! I knew I'd recently read about Shake-a-Pudding on a thread here, but because it was buried in a thread on Carnation Instant Breakfast Bars on the breakfast forum, I couldn't remember where I'd seen it. I have a vivid memory of sitting on a swing on the swingset in our backyard, shaking up a Shake-a-Pudding and singing the jingle I'd heard many times on TV. (Edited to add: I wonder what in the heck the "milk-esque substance" in the bottom of the cup was. I don't remember that-- I thought we added milk to the powder... )
