Question on spammers..

Early this Am there was a spam post for downloading some software for a dating site.  I flagged it and reported it.  Was I supposed to do that, or just leave it for the mods to find?
I noticed its gone today.

If it is gone, one of the mods found it.  One of us generally find things like that PDQ.

It doesn't hurt to send a note to a Moderator, to help them locate those spammers. I saw the post and dumped it, but I just came across it on a routine check. I could have passed it by without reading it.

I did flag it before it was deleted.  Thats really what I was asking about.
You didnt miss much.  It was software to download and start your own dating site.  Id be afraid to guess what kind of stuff was actually on it

You done good. I always flag spam for deletion. And on the old site where there was no way to flag, I'd send the link to a mod via email.

The new site makes it easier to alert the mods about spammy invaders, because as you mentioned, you never know what's waiting for you at the other end of their links.

Flag, how do you do that?
