Oh man, bigger saddle bags for the young lass. My idea of a GREAT lunch is today's Catalina's. I love Cuban food. Here in Madison we have everything from Ethiopian to Soul....no Cuban. I miss that the most having lived in Key West. I would go to big extremes for a Cuban sandwich about now.

There is something very "Stepford" about that picture. "Don't resist, eat the crackers. You will be happy when you eat the crackers." I turn it away from me when I have my bedtime snack.

And she is on Wheat Thins, I think Ritz crackers too, besides olive oil, knives, now bedding, yeesh, enough already. I wonder when the backlash is going to hit her? I just don't find any of her recipes particularly inventive, interesting, or out of the ordinary, to tell the truth. But she has definitely carved out a niche for herself.

I couldn't believe she was closing in on 40 this year. I thought she was 20 something! Never-the-less, if she isn't careful, she is gonna look like Eric Cartman! I guess she is a little too perky, and never met a restaurant she didn't like, but she must be doing something that makes someone happy. Mainly her agent I bet. Sad to hear her hubby liked to have other women toast his buns, and insert objects where the sun don't shine. I highly doubt, however, that she will be left destitute in the divorce aftermath. Rumor also has it that she can drink wine like a homeless person, and cuss like a sailor afterward. Maybe she gets those "cozy" to the side spots for a reason...

Her eating habits are easily seen on her spreading thighs and ass. A good reason not to trust her recommendations!!!

WOW!! It's amazing how much alike many folks are. I figured I was the ONLY person around that despised seeing that phony bi***, sorry, I meant "woman" on my Triscuit box.

I love how some people, like Mack184 for instance, can't accept the fact that certain successful people will, for example, through the personality they present, rub certain other people the wrong way. Are we to limit the people who irritate us to only those who are not successful? Or can we allow the successful to irritate us as long as we don't publically admit it? Or are we to sing Kum Bye Ya, hold hands with the rest of the world, eat alfalfa sprout sandwiches, and not admit to ourselves that anyone in the entire wonderful planet could ever irritate us, hey don't bogart that joint my friend? Please advise. P.S. I could watch Alton Brown, Graham Kerr, and/or Paula Deen 8 hours a day for a number of weeks and not get irritated at them. Are they sucessful?

The type of people who frequent this forum are not the type who used to watch Robin Leach on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. So it is not surprising that you will find snide comments about people overexposed in the media, or cashing-in left and right. Like Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray must have a huge, hidden "machine" behind her to allow her to turn out so much programming.

Ulver,Where did you hear that about Rachael's husband and the other women???I have nothing against her or Emeril as human beings and am glad they are successful. However there is such a thing as over exposure. When the people behind them decide they have milked the cash cow that is Rachael Ray,etc.they will dump her and find someone else. I too have wondered about her and the restaurant deal. She seems to think they are all yummy.

Recently, she has a new sidekick on one of her shows, that it is said, is her new guy.

Supermarket tabloid? Tell me Rachel is dating Bat Boy! In Rachel's defense, she does make me miss Martha Stewart.
