The Ranch House is located on North Main St, Hartford, CT. Is is just south of exit 34 on I 91. I had a Spicy chile dog with mustard and onions. It was great! Let me warn you the chile is very spicy. They also have a less spicy version. The price was reasonable under $3. I hope to get photos next trip. Walt

I have found when they say spicy chili in CT they mean it!! Was at Merritt Canteen recently and was reminded of this fact. Wow!!!

I've heard quite a bit about this place. I understand they have fantastic chicken wings too. From what I hear its not in that great a neighborhood though.

I would not go there late at night. But given the Ranch House's hours, it should not be a problem,

The Ranch House should not be conjfused with Paul's Ranch House. Paul's is a little further south on North Main.

Unfortunately, no I have not been to both. Pauls is in a more urban setting and does not have easy parking compounded with road construction. But this might be a nice mini tour to try the Ranch House, Paul's Ranch House and Barts in Windsor, CT. I know that the ranch House and Barts have similar menus. I cannot find a menu for Paul's Ranch House.
