My parents just moved to Rancho Cucamonga, CA.  There seems to be a lot of chain style restaurants.  Any suggestions for something more local?   My parents especially like "comfort" food and aren't top adventurous in there tastes.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I've never been to the area but my friend, Julzy-Q, a resident of San Bernardino county, told me to give you this list as a starting point:

    Brandon's Diner
    Nancy's Cafe
    Corky's Kitchen & Bakery
    BC Cafe
    Red Hill Coffee Shop
    Stevie Dee's Diner
    Molly's Souper (Upland, CA)

By the way, just knowing you're from Ann Arbor brings visions of Zingerman's Pimento Cheese.
