This artist is a little more obscure but I just love it: Kristin Chenoweth... The Girl in 14G Watch it on Youtube... It makes me smile every time I watch it. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jBJn4BHtqqY

So far the only name with which I'm familiar is Chenoweth, but the Chenoweth I know of is Doral Chenoweth, the former (and boy do I miss his work) restaurant critic for the Columbus Dispatch.

Starland Vocal Band did "Afternoon Delight" back in the late 70's, and disappeared, but I love the song when it surfaces now and then.

Well, here I was thinking of painters when I saw the thread!("songs" was cut off)...LOl.....Andy Wyeth was a neighbor and a great artist.....not to mention a real roadfooder, hanging out at Hanks, The Chadds ford Inn and Hugos.and a great guy.i like so much of his work and i loved the guy personally. But he studied under his father, NC, who to me was sort of dark and mysterious. The local Brandywine Museum has lots of their stuff as well as Howard Pyle who settled here and opened his famous studio/school for illustrators. I persoanlly don't get all that thrilled with NC. As to singers...........well, all I can say is the best thing Mr. Achey-Breaky Heart did was have a daughter.

What I've always liked about Chenoweth is that she has two singing voices, a pop voice and a classical voice. I like the way she uses them both here.

I have to go with... He's the greatest dancer...by Sister Sledge. There's nothing like watching a bunch of Jersey girls dance to that song...after a few hours in the spirits of an evening. Nothing.

Bob and I just celebrated our 33rd anniversary-he was 19, I was 20. Point being, we spent the day listening to the old 70's songs. What fun, and what laughter...all the songs you guys mentioned were among the dances....!!!!!!!

Interesting topic that I was actually sort of thinking about this week, having just borrowed a 4 CD set of Nat King Cole's Capitol singles from the library. Most of it is kind of tedious, especially in 2012, but one song I've always really liked is That Sunday That Summer. What a great song about Falling in Love: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAuPoFRugsM&feature=related

Easy, and I'm very sorry Chris. 'Owner of a Lonely Heart' by Yes is the only prog rock song I can stomach.
