I have seen Red Robbins commericals for several months now but hadn't went till last night. OMG they are YUMMY !! I had the mushroom burger and came with bottomless dinner fries ( my son had 3 baskets lol ) I never had a burger with so many mushrooms before ...wow it was awesome. My son had the 5 alarm burger and it had like hot peppers. hot salsa..etc on it... he loved it . Pam

I thought you were talking about Marty Robbins' brother until I read your post to find out you were actually talking about Red Robin. The Blackened Bayou Burger is my favorite.

I'm glad you had a good experience! Every time we go there the burgers are cold.

Most of my experiences at Red Robin have been pretty good. I first ate at RR back in the mid '80s, when my job used to take me to Seattle frequently. Back then, Red Robin was just a small Seattle-area chain ( only a half-dozen restaurants ), and they were quite different than they are today. The "old" RR locations were very adult-oriented; heavy emphasis on the bar and no "kiddie" decor. The burgers were a lot better back then too. It wasn't until they decided to go nationwide and franchise that they began the transition into a "family fun" chain. Generally, the burgers are still good ( and the steak fries are great ), but they're not what they were "back when".

We walked in and checked it out once. My wife made us leave as she refused to pay 10 bux for a burger. I saw some of the food coming out and it looked decent. I guess the idea of paying 25 bux for burgers for 2 might turn others off as well.

I am a fan of Red Robin. I love their crispy chicken sandwich. Their fries are really good as well; especially with their brand of Red Robin seasoning.

We ate here once in Massachusetts. I took a Whiskey River BBQ Chicken Burger and it was pretty good, it's nice to get steak cut fries too for a change but as for them being endless, well I didn't even manage to finish the first batch. They have great drinks, especially the milkshakes, we had a half and half peach and banana milkshake.
