Ok that is just wrong. Who picks RR over Hackneys???!?!?!?!

I wasnt too impressed with our Red Robin. Cheese not melted on the burgers. Burgers not that flavorful. Meh. Fries, though? Oh yeah. Brought some home & pan fried them the next AM for some breakfast potatoes.

I've only been to the one in Mooresville, NC, but I was so underwhelmed. We began with the onion rings, because they looked so cool on that stick/tower. Good move, the sauces were yummy and the onion rings nice and crispy. Our burgers were both horrible, though. Loud as all get out, too (and I have two kids, so that's saying something, right?). Do yourself a favor and skip it.

I like their Chicken Ceasar wraps a lot. I find their burgers overpriced. They aren't much better than a McDonald's Quarter Pounder.

One thing I noticed about the RR near the PA turnpike and rte 100.

Food was ok. Just OK. I was there on a Sunday night with my daughter who was waiting for a ride back to Penn State. Most of the people coming in seemed to be single parents with kids - sort of the Sunday night dinner out with Dad/Mom before being dropped off.

So..if you have kids..the place has fun stuff. If you want a quiet, good meal, you might want to think about someplace else or wait until after 8.

My big problem with Red Robin is the fact that they overcook their burgers everytime per company policy. I've even offered to sign a waiver to get a med rare to med burger but due to the E.coli freakout they just won't do it. My local burger joint would serve it to me mooing if I asked them to so that's where my dollars go.

i too was underwhelmed by Red Robin, and thought they were very overpriced. their burgers had no flavor, and they were overcooked (despite being asked "how do you like your burger?") - no one bothered to tell us that we couldn't get them medium rare after we ordered them that way. the whole toppings menu made for some serious tummy aches for those of us who didn't stick to the plainest burger they had. i am not a fan of burger chains to begin with, but i think Wendy's makes a far better burger for half the price (getting fries included with your meal means nothing when they are cold and tasteless as well!)
