Reheating Frozen BB's

How do you reheat frozen ribs at home? I use Sam's BB's and have to buy three racks at a time. One half rack is enough for my wife and I, after smoking them I seal with a food saver, and freeze. Remove from freezer the night before to thaw and reheat wrapped in foil within a 250 degree oven for 30 minutes. John

John John I never freeze my ribs but when I reheat them in the steam table I add apple juice to the pan, and sit the ribs on a rack so they aren't sitting in the liquid but just above it. However I've added apple juice when I couldn't see the bottom of the pan (it was full of ribs) and then found latter that some ribs were actually in the juice but they were great very juicy and moist. It didn't hurt a thing. So if you just built a tinfoil tent and poured apple juice in the bottom of the foil your not going to hurt the ribs. The Doctor of BBQ

To keep my ribs moist and Tender, when they are finished and waiting to be sold, I wrap them in aluminum foil, spray them with apple juice and hold them at one end of the smoker, always juicy and tender..

Milwaukee SURE SHOT SPRAYER to use while I have product in my smoker. I already had an air compressor in my trailer to blow out my water hose on below freezing days so when I ran across the Sure Shot Sprayer at a good price it was a no brainier. It shoots a really fine mist at least 30 inches so it's easy to reach the pork butts, or ribs in the back of my smoker. If I hadn't had the compressor I'd never bought it but now I'm glad I did. It's a pretty neat tool. Jack@DrofBBQ.com
