Not crazy about fried clams myself; must be missing something. Would this be a good place to start my re-education? And what should I get with/on them?

Another spring seafood reopening that I'm eagerly waiting is the Nordic Lodge in Charlestown, RI on April 26th. Home of the all you can eat lobster buffet!! And this is from someone who traditionally avoids buffets where quantity over quality is too prevalent. (not the case here!) I'm a lobster junkie and here I can definitely get my fix.

This is where you got to go! Order a fried clam plate and be sure to get with a side of cole slaw and onion rings. The lobster rolls are also wonderful.

just put salt on them or you can dip them in tartar sauce.

But when you move back to Massachusetts, will you miss Rocky Mountain oysters?

I just made it to the Clam Box at it's first week of opening for the season. Here is a photo I took to make your water mouth.
