A restaurant my dog could fully enjoy. He prefers to drink his water this way (from the real thing). I wonder if you can order the "bowls" from the restaurant. They may be passing up on a big income if they don't offer these on an internet site.

The mental image this brings up would certainly discourage my patronage. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

3rd Battalion, 4th Marines (The Thundering Third) used to drink out of the "Thunder Mug" at a special party to initiate the new members. The "Thunder Mug" was a grody old toilet bowl that had been hauled around for years. I often wondered what happened to it when 3/4 was disbanded, and if it was found when 3/4 was brought back to life a few years ago. Today, if it is used at all, it is almost certainly filled with a non alcoholic punch if it is used in a combat zone.

I guess that a restaurant like this was inevitable. We live in an era where people are entertained by watching contestants on a TV show eat things like horse testicles, insects, and worms. So, I guess that this is the next logical step in the devolution of taste. Just don't count me in as a customer.

I'm with the Sundancer on this one. To interact with objects related to bowel function is just not my idea of ambience for a good meal.

Something jogged my memory, and I just remembered reading many years ago (in the mid-60s) about a restaurant in Paris that featured soups and casseroles served in old chamber pots. As a teenager, I thought that this concept was pretty disgusting, and I still find any connection between food service and toilet functions to be really distasteful (no pun intended). Does anyone know if that place in Paris is still around? And, if so--WHY?
