Restaurant and kitchen size -- what's yours?

I posted in another thread about kitchen layout, but I was also wondering if I have allocated too much or too little space for a kitchen. I'm trying to work within existing walls to cut down on construction costs - 1770 sq ft kitchen is 334 sq ft main dining room 684 sq ft private dining room 240 sq ft the remainder is for restrooms, beverage station/glass storage, office and hallways this location is larger than the one I initially wanted so I was able to set aside room for a private dining room to host wedding/baby showers, birthday parties, business lunches, etc.

that's a big building ... do you have a private dining room? with that much space I'm sure you do! I was estimating 20% for the kitchen area, but you've got 25% which is probably a much better choice. when I narrowed the hall by removing the existing wall, I gained about 1.5 ft and the beverage station isn't in the kitchen either and that area is 66 sq ft.
