Restaurant picture

I like this one. As soon as I saw this space, I knew I had to shoot it.

Well, yeah, but it's not a new visit nor a new picture. The first time I posted it, in color, as part of the review. But when I shot this particular shot, I was thinking of it as a great photo opportunity as well, and I finally took some time to work it out as I saw it. It's a really neat space.

enginecapt, that's some TV talking head in the background. TV must be the new muzak.

When I first noticed the face in the far background, I thought I was looking at the Kitchen pass-thru window framing the face of the grillman!!  Nice Photo, Tom.

Compare the bright cheeriness of your shot to this photo of the "East End Eat Shop" taken in 1924, in Cicero, IL. This was my grandmother's business, across the street from the Western Electic Factory, where Grandfather worked. He is in the photo, helping get the place ready to open for it's daily business. A bit less cheery, isn't it !!
