 Rice pudding redux

I was standing in the kitchen the other day with a fresh pot of finished product white rice. I had planned on using it to supplement my Doberman's supper for a few days when I had a lightbulb go off in my head.

While still hot from the stove, I commenced to pour a can of coconut milk and a can of evap milk in the pan. To that I added a little salt, brown sugar to taste, cinnamon, a little nutmeg, a bit of real vanilla and a handful of raisins.

That stuff was just as good as the baked variety, and was easier to make and didn't heat up the house in this hot Fontana summer heat.

I'm brilliant.
