RickF ???

I have been missing RickF's post and I was worried about him. He just called me a few minutes ago and reported that he is in Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in room 226. He can be reached at 318.332.9844.

This is the second time he has been hospitalized in the last two weeks and this time he has been in since last Wednesday. He has been feeling weak, losing some muscle mass. I hope it has not affected his appetite.

I was thinking about him the other day when a silver Boxer passed me at about 100MPH.

Aside from the meatloaf in a hospital in Macon, GA., hospital food isn't worth eating, so get better so you can enjoy some Roadfood really soon!

Much better. Will respond with usuaql information overload later. On borrowed computer using hospital's Wi-Fi (to neither of which I should have access--thank you, Jan & Gerard!), and am unfamiliar with both.

Hey, Bud, wondered where you disappeared to? I can think of much better (& cheaper!) places to vacation! The food really SUCKS where you are! Get outta there & go rehabilitate yourself @ Mama's and/or Red's! You're missed, and our aim AIN'T getting no better!

I talked to Rick last week, he was still in. But got an email from him yesterday and he's out now. He'll be posting again soon.

Hey, I had a good bowl of chili at the hospital in Greenville,Tx. It was from frozen but was real good. I need to get the brand!

Okay, boys & girls, Here's the promised overload. No. Changed mind, such as it is! Basically am now on regimen of exercise, both walking a bit and muscle rebuilding. Breathing's good (not smoking), weak as a kitten. But things are looking up, and I do appreciate all of y'all!

The latchstring's out if any of you are in the neighborhood: one extra bedroom, one hide-a-bed, one more room for an air mattress, a brand-spanking-new generator that will run freezer, ice-maker refrig, & microwave so the essentials are covered. Food, shelter, booze, crazy pets and a neat town to get decadent in. What more can one ask?
