I was expecting to read more about Cracker Barrell and the raging "Captain D's versus Long John Silvers" debate. Oh well...I guess I could search around here for awhile.

Excellent. It's really interesting that y'all started off "documenting the end of an era". It's great that not only mom & pop places are regaining favor around the country, but small family farms are coming back, too. It's people like the Stern's who have revived the movements away from "corporate food", and it's people like the common Roadfood members who are "carrying the water buckets". I continue to support local crops, livestock, vendors, and cafes. With the help of people like the Roadfooders, that "end of era" will never come! One can always hope...
