This website that is supposed to be non-political, yet you accept banner ads from the DNC. Does the dollar outweigh your words?

I am sure the ads are rendered by the banner ad service ... Kind of a luck of the draw situation.

However, if you notify Stephen Rushmore Jr., and he agrees that the ads should not appear on Roadfood.com, and if he's able to selectively kill such ads, you might see results.

I don't know how the ads work. Are they dependent upon what cookies may be on your computer? I never seem to get these controversial ads...I have been seeing CVS photos, Chevy, M&M's, Levis...but nothing political. Wonder what am I doing wrong/right?

If you are a Republican, click on the DNC ads whenever you see them ... It might cost the DNC a penny or two and generate a penny or two of revenue for Roadfood.

I think they are triggered by the content of the particular page being viewed.

My friends website vendor's out his ads. He has no control over what is plastered on his pages other than specifically opting out of ads deemed "adult" oriented. The vendor looks over your site, judges who the viewing market is, and tags you accordingly. They do their best to match advertisers to the viewing audience, but nothing is perfect.

I never look at them anyway, so who really cares what they run...as long as they pay some of the bills.

DNC or RNC does not matter. I think it just flies in the face of what has been preached by the "Keepers of the delete button". Whom BTW I realize have nothing to do with ad content. WarToad, Your right. Filters should have been set to opt out of political ads.

Surely, you jest. M&Ms are the very bastion of political and controversial social engineering. Think I'm wrong. Check out their latest "product": I have never witnessed such overt segregationalism. Can the purple M&Ms not live with the blue M&Ms? Do the pink M&Ms have to rely on forced busing to share God's planet wih the green M&Ms? Your failure to even recognize this candy-shelled racism, Tony Bad, is simply soul shattering.

I don't even look at the ads. But I think the RNC ads are under the "Desserts" Forum-Topic "Let Them Eat Cake."
